Inspired by others

To be in contact with others, and to be able to learn about different cultures and experiment with our place in them is a gift and a constant source of inspiration for the work we do. We love to travel and do so frequently.

There are connections to Turkey in several ways, both personally and professionally, which fuels our interest in the welfare of that country and of its people.

Our longstanding connection to Nepal was reinvigorated after the devastating earthquake in May 2015. Since then, we have been in contact with several projects and friends there, and try to visit often.

We enjoy traveling to various places to offer workshops, seminars or coaching sessions. We invite you to check in with us about working with you in your country.

Izmir

Currently, it is particularly important to us to support a small organization in Izmir. ReVi has found a way to help people unbureaucratically, specifically people who fled the war in Syria and wish to live in Turkey. ReVi offers them family visits, translation services, basic food stuffs, and much more. We've spent several weeks with them and look forward to more.

Nepal

We continue to be particularly impressed by the work of Kantosh, a friend who works as a dentist and medical health worker, often visiting schools or orphanages. He regularly organizes medical camps in remote areas. And he finances it all with donations. His willingness to help, generosity and modesty cannot be put into words...we're just happy to know him.

help2help

Inspired by the experiences in Nepal and Turkey, and by supervisions with members of volunteer groups in various countries, we are starting to develop a no-charge supervision program for volunteers. We want to help people who are helping people and do not belong to NGOs who can provide a psychological backup.
